INTRODUCTION
A fictional vintage advertisement presenting the Hisuian Poké Ball as an early piece of Pokémon technology, exploring its construction, mechanism, usage, and different models available.
GOALS
Create an informative yet visually engaging poster that presents the Hisuian Poké Ball as a functional historical object, blending product documentation with the charm of vintage advertising.
CHALLENGE
The challenge was to make a fictional technical product feel authentic and believable while keeping the poster approachable, playful, and visually rooted in a vintage aesthetic.

Research
Research focused on vintage product advertisements, technical diagrams, instructional posters, early scientific illustrations, and historical packaging to recreate the feeling of an authentic period document.
PROCESS_02
Strategy
The poster was structured like a vintage product guide, combining a central product illustration with technical callouts, instructional elements, and a selection of available Poké Ball models.
PROCESS_03
Design decisions
A muted vintage palette, engraved-style illustrations, decorative typography, and technical annotations were used to give the Poké Ball a sense of history and craftsmanship. Each element was designed to feel like part of an authentic product catalogue or instructional manual.
